William B. Thomas

Age 61, passed away suddenly Tuesday February 1, 2022 at his home.

Survived by his partner Debbie Baumann; two children Stephanie (Jacob) Alexander and Billy (Lisa) Thomas; mother Lynn Thomas; grandchildren Dylan, Noah, Harley, Jemma, Annabelle, Lillian and Sawyer; three brothers James (Lynn), Tom and Tim Thomas; cousins Ronnie Mrozek; niece Kara (Alex) Patterson; nephews Jeffery (Shannen) and Jason (Stephanie) Thomas.   Beloved pets Nugget, Chewy and Roxy and dog niece Lucy.

Preceded in death by his father James M. “Oscar” Thomas; maternal grandparents Albert and Elizabeth LaBorence; paternal grandmother Evelyn (Sam) Anderson.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.  Retired from Local #75.   Bill enjoyed riding his motorcycle, all sports and music.   He was an animal lover.  Bill was a generous man and remembered everyone’s special occasions.   He will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.   As per Bill’s wishes cremation rite will follow visitation.
