Wayne D. Thayer Age 69 passed away suddenly Friday March 4 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center.Survived by his wife Judy A. (Engelman) Thayer two sons Douglas and Daniel Thayer two sisters Karen J. Thayer and Diane (Lee) Goodenough brother Allen R. (Ann) Thayer four brother-in-law Ricky (Nora), Clifford (Deb), Vince (Nancy) and Jeff Engelman Numerous nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by his parents Allen J. Dorothy L. (Swiggert) Thayer In-laws Patrick and Beatrice Engelman.Born in Joliet living in Channahon. Retired from Roger Cart Age. An Avid outdoorsman he loved to hunt. A special Thank You to Dr. Ramesh Patel and Dr. Riten Sheth for all the care given to Doug.Funeral Services will be held Monday March 7 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Cremation rites to follow. Visitation Monday 2-7:30 p.m.
