Verna Beth Krauss

Krauss, Verna Beth "Betty" Age 93, of Crest Hill, Il. formerly of Chicago, Il., at rest Thursday, November 1, 2012 at her residence. Born February 9, 1919 in Chicago, Il and lived there most of her life until moving to Joliet, Il in 2004. An avid Green Bay Packers fan, Betty also loved her plastic canvas crafts. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter R. and Ruth A. (Bailie) Krauss; her brother Robert W. Krauss and dear sister-in-law, Louise and precious niece, Roberta Louise Krauss. Betty is survived by her niece Judith Krauss Milde, and grand-nephew Joseph. Funeral services will be held at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Thursday, November 7, 2012 at 10am. Interment will be at Elm Lawn Cemetery, 401 E. Lake Street, Elmhurst, Il. Visitation Wednesday 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Arthritis Foundation would be appreciated.
