Susann M. Theobald (Persha)

Passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at Lightways Hospice.

Survived by her two sons Tim (Lori) Theobald and Jeff (Jo Lynn) Theobald; grandchildren Tyler, Emilee, Kayla, Kelsey, Madalynn and Ryan; one brother John (Linda) Persha. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband Clifford J. Theobald and parents John L. and Irene Persha.

Born in Joliet, living in Joliet after spending several years living in Wilmington. Susann retired from the University of St. Francis after 30+ years of service. She and Clifford volunteered together at St. Joseph Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed being outside, fishing, camping at Meneoka Campground and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 18, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday February 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
