Stanley Joseph Slucki

Stanley J. Sluck Age 87 passed away Thursday January 12 2012 at Our Lady of Angels in Joliet. He was a lifetime resident of Joliet. Graduate from University of Kansas and was a retired accountant.Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Anna Slucki brothers Casimir and John Slucki and sister Lottie (late George)Kaduchak and nephew Bobbie Joe Kaduchak.Survived by his sister Helen (Thomas) Hucik sister-in-law Margaret Slucki nephews Dennis and David Slucki nieces Beverly (Wayne) Schewe Carol (Bernie) Riegel Joyce (Daniel) Conner. Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.Stan was a WWII Army Veteran lifetime member of Cantigny Post V.F.W. #367. Stanley will be remembered for his belief that laughter was the best medicine his laughter was infectious.The Focker] family was at his bedside as Stanleys entered eternal life.Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home Tuesday January 17 2012 at 9:30 a.m. to Holy Cross Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice United Cerebral Palsy or charity of choice.
