Sidney Amos McAdory
Age 73, of Joliet, gained his wings on Sunday July 9, 2023, with his family by his side.
He was born on October 8, 1949, in Laurel Mississippi to Amos McAdory and Minnie Hamilton. He was a Vietnam Veteran 82nd Airborne Unit from 1969-1971. He worked a Grants Appliances for 30 plus years until he retired.
He is preceded in death by his mother Minnie Hamilton; father Amos McAdory; brother Wiley Blackwell, William Blackwell, Walter Blackwell and Mack McAdory; sister Annie Bell Jones.
Sidney A. McAdory is survived by his sister Annie Ruth Blackwell, Annie Sue Clark and Betty Ruth McAdory; one brother Marshall Charles McAdory; nieces Dina Mechelle Caruth (Nakia) and Andra Michelle Williams (Adrian). Lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.
