Ruth M. Ziesmer

Age 63, passed away February 1, 2022 at Amita St. Joseph Medical Center.

Survived by her husband Carl Ziesmer Jr.; son Daniel (Laura) Ziesmer; daughter Laura Ziesmer; two grandchildren Madison and Benjamin Ziesmer; mother Dorothy Radke; siblings Jane (Douglas) Carter, Kenneth (Vicki) Radke, Alice Aragones and Joan Malak; step father-in-law Robert Clavenna and step mother-in-law Patricia Ziesmer.    Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her father Kenneth Radke; father-in-law Carl Ziesmer Sr. and mother-in-law Janet Clavenna.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.  Graduated from Joliet West High School.   Ruth was a devoted grandmother.   She loved nature and gardening.

Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, with Rev. William Mitschke officiating.   Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.   Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m.
