The Life of Ronnie P Rudolph began on December 16, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. Ronnie was the younger of two brothers born to Evelyn Coates and S. Rudolph. Growing up, Ronnie was raised primarily by his mother and grandmother. He lived most of his formative years in Chicago, Illinois. His mother and grandmother then relocated to Gary, Indiana where he graduated from Calumet High School in 1960. Shortly after graduation, Ronnie enlisted in the Airforce. After serving years in the Airforce, Ronnie returned to Illinois.

Ronnie briefly worked with the railroad as an Office Clerk. Anyone that knows Ronnie, knows that he hates sitting behind a desk although he loved typing. Ronnie then began his career working with the CTA, where he proudly served for thirty plus years. Ronnie worked as a Trainman, Payroll Clerk and Transit Analyst. Ronnie than met the love of his life, Ruby “Helen” Rudolph in 1970 coincidently on the train in Chicago, Illinois. They married in 1976. Shortly after, they purchased their first home in Evanston, Illinois and resided there for nearly twenty years. During this time, they raised two beautiful daughters Jill C. Wright and Felicia Knight. Ronnie & Helen also have one grandson George B. Wright Jr (Atlanta, Georgia). In 2002 after retirement, Ronnie & Helen decided to move to Joliet, Illinois where they currently reside.

Ronnie had a passion for learning and traveling. Ronnie loved reading the newspaper and exercising daily. Ronnie and Helen traveled around the world during their forty plus years of marriage. Ronnie instilled stability and tough love in his family. Ronnie passed peacefully on February 11, 2023. He was surrounded and supported by loving family and caregivers during the last days of his life.

He is proceeded in death by his mother and grandmother, brother Stan (Maryland) and his two daughters (Jill C. Wright & Felicia J Knight (Riverdale, Georgia). He is survived by his wife Helen, grandson George (Atlanta, Georgia) and his brother and sister in law (Silas and Rosemary Buchanan (Riverdale, GA).
