Robert E. Tomlinson Age 81 passed away Thursday December 29 2011 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home.Preceded in death by his parents Frank Dutch] and Catherine Delong one grandson Gary M. Walton and one sister Loretta Cook.Survived by his daughter Marlene (Gary) Walton two grandchildren Alisha and Andrew Walton two brothers Michael Tomlinson and Richard (Mildred) Delong. Numerous nieces nephews and cousins and special cousin and friend Jeanne Sonnenberg.Born in Joliet a lifelong resident. Robert was in the Marine Corp. serving in Korea. Life member of the Lockport V.F.W. Post 5788.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 3 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Tuesday 12:00 noon until time of services. Memorials to the family or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
