Age 78, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at his home.

Survived by his wife Tinia A. Canada; children Brian Mayer, Stephen Canada, Kathy Schorzman and Bob Canada; siblings Richard Canada, Gloria Shuping and Gale Firkins.

Preceded in death by his parents John F.  and Doris I. (Snider) Canada; one son Gary Mayer; siblings Virginia Ward, Karen Baker, Diane Cravens, Doris Kulich and Jack Canada.

Born in Benton, IL living in Rockdale.   U.S. Marine Corps veteran.  Retired from the Will County Sheriffs Department.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3:00 p.m.  Interment on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Masonic and Old Fellows Cemetery in Benton, IL.
