Rick W. Bailey

Age 66, of Lockport, IL, passed away at home on June 8, 2023.

He was a graduate of Joliet West High School.   He was a retired union carpenter with Cook County Local #174.  Rick’s favorite pass time was fishing and spending time at the River with friends, especially Danny and Carol Moore.  Rick was so easy going but sure loved a good practical joke.

Rick is survived by his siblings Karen Klein, Linda (Russ) Avery, Curt (Chris) Bailey, Theresa Allen and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marjie M. (Wertz) Bailey and Richard W. Bailey both in 2017, one sister Cynthia at birth 1954.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.   Visitation Monday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service.   In lieu of flowers donations to Lightways Hospice of Joliet.
