Richard S. Hoyt Age 83 passed away Sunday April 1 2012 at his home with his wife by his side.Survived by his wife Karyn Hoyt step daughters Kim (Jay) Ingalls and Robin (Jim) Scott two step grandchildren Jeremy and Regina Scott sister-in-law Mary Hoyt. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.Preceded in death by his parents Francis H. and Edith Hoyt Sr. two brothers Francis H. Hoyt Jr. and Robert Hoyt.Born in Lockport a longtime Joliet resident. Owner of Commercial Electric Systems. Richard owned and operated a Fishing Resort in Canada for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors.Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 7 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
