Peter Ready Age 84 died peacefully on Thursday February 17 2011 surrounded by his family at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center.Born January 28 1927 to the late Thomas and Julia (McDonald) Ready.Survived by his devoted wife of 60 years Marguerite (Sarcletti) Ready loving children Mary (Dan) Bebar Michael Ready (Deceased) daughter-in-law Terry Ready JoAnn (Ben) Hayes and Mark (Rena) Ready his 8 precious grandchildren Julie (Gary) Rojo Tim Bebar Michael and Samantha Ready Darcy and Connor Hayes and Brandon and Sean Ready three adorable great grandchildren Jacob Alex and Mia Rojo sister-in-law and brother-in-law Loretta and Tom Crawley and numerous nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by his six sisters two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.He graduated from Joliet Catholic High School. He served in the Army Air Force during W.W.II. Retired from Olin Chemical after 38 years. Member of Cantigny VFW Post #367 and senior association. Founding parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame.Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home Tuesday February 22 2011 at 9:15 a.m. to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Monday February 21 2011 from 4-8 p.m.
