Paul W. Guertin

Paul W. Guertin, Age 82, of Joliet, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Joliet, Paul was the son of the late Arthur and Hazel Guertin.

Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Helen (nee Sicinski); his children: daughter Lori Moody, son Brian (Candace) Guertin; and stepsons Paul (Anita), Pete (Karen) and John (Sheri) Theobald. Half-brother Joseph (MaryLou deceased) Guertin. He was a proud grandfather to Brandon, Alec, Alyssa, Spencer, Stephanie, Jeff and Keeley and a proud great grandfather to two. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

Paul retired from Kinder Morgan and was well known for his love of sports. He enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and was a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Lightways Hospice, Queen of Apostles Catholic Church or Special Olympics.

Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, with interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
