Patricia A. (Elens) Pitcairn

Died: November 19, 2025

Patricia Pitcairn passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was 83 years young. Patricia was born in Joliet to the late Bill and Clara Elens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Pitcairn, and son, Robbie Pitcairn. Patricia is survived by daughter Diana (Tom) Wunderlich and son Tim Pitcairn; two granddaughters Frankie (Kyle) Forsythe and Brynn Pitcairn; and two great-grandchildren, Finley and Leo Forsythe. She is also survived by three siblings, Bill (Judy), Gary, and Debbie; in-laws Jim (Kay) Pitcairn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will greatly miss her best friends of many years, Jim and Patti, Donna, Sharon, and Verna, along with her loyal canine companion, Molly. The family would like to thank Margie and Brianna from Lightways Hospice for being wonderful caregivers to Patricia in recent weeks. Pat’s favorite pastime was sitting on the front porch watching the birds and indulging in her McDonald’s large cokes.

Per Patricia’s wishes, cremation rites have been honored. The family will be celebrating her life privately.
