Milka E. Draksler Nee: Cebasek Age 81, passed away peacefully, Monday May 28, 2012 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Survived by her husband Edvard M. Draksler; children Mary Ana Nemenski, Edward (Monica) Draksler, Millie Draksler, Donald Draksler and David (Peggy) Draksler; numerous grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister Marija (Ivan) Neubauer. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents John and Angela (Hlebcar) Cebasek; son-in-law Phillip Nemenski; two brothers Milan (Breda) Cebasek and Paul (Helen) Cebasek. Born September 13, 1930 in Trboje Slovenia, immigrated to America in 1950. Married to her beloved husband Edvard on June 6, 1953. Milka was well recognized for her skills in the kitchen. Employed her talents for many years in the Rectories of St. Joseph and St. Raymond's in Joliet and also in the Cafeteria at Providence High School. Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Monday June 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Action Against Hunger at www.Actionagainsthunger.org would be appreciated.
