Matthew W. Croy

Matthew W. Croy Age 44, passed away Tuesday July 23, 2013 at Silver Cross Hospital. Survived by his children Kasteel, Calvin, Koli, Cade and Cree Croy; parents Wayne and Carla Croy; sisters Sue (Mike) Alberico, Wendy (Bert) Parker and Dena Croy; brother-in-law Mike Reverie. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive. Preceded in death by his mother LyAnn (Burgess) Barrowman; sisters Cheri Reverie and Lynnett Rogers. Born in Dearborn, MI, a Minooka-Joliet area resident most of his life. U.S. Marine Veteran, graduating Company Honor Man from Boot Camp, serving in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was a certified Arborist working in the area. Matthew loved spending time with his children and was a fan of all sports. A Memorial Service will be held, Monday July 29, 2013 at 10:15 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag funeral Home. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-4 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
