Marianne Beltzhoover

July 11, 1957 — March 4, 2026

Joliet

Surrounded by her family, Marianne Beltzhoover passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Marianne was born on July 11, 1957, in Murray, Kentucky. She later moved with her family to Joliet where she resided most of her life. She received a BSN from Northern Illinois University and specialized in cardiac and intensive care for much of her life. Nursing wasn’t just her career but was an extension of her caring heart.

Marianne was the happiest when she was spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as “Aunt Mimi”. But her greatest joy and light of her life was her son Jon, a senior at Iowa State University, who she poured her love into and carried immense pride in the man that he had become.

Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, George Edward and Helen Rita Beltzhoover.

She is survived by her loving son Jon Ryan Beltzhoover, her brothers Dirk, Eric (Laurie) and Alex (Janet) Beltzhoover, sisters Carolyn (David) Johanson, Christine Beltzhoover, and Gretchen (Rolf) Troha. She is also survived by her nephews Ryan (Shanon Atkinson) Beltzhoover, Chris (Carolyn Klein), Matt (Miranda) and Tim Johanson, Conner Klingler, Luke and Erik Troha, and her nieces Rachel (Eric) Perczynski, Sara Johanson, Samantha (Kyle) Bennett, Elizabeth Beltzhoover, Madeline (John) Santaguida and Ingrid Troha, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be administered. A Catholic mass will be held for Marianne at a later date.
