Maria Dela Martinez

Age 80, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at River Crossing of Joliet.

Survived by her children Marisela Martinez, Enrique (Sheri) Martinez Jr., Francisco Martinez, Rosa Martinez and Arturo Martinez; grandchildren Jessica Allison, Donna Martinez, Yolanda Bobeck, Joaquin A. Martinez, Austin (Samantha) Martinez and Noah Martinez; seven great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Enrique Martinez Sr., one son Joaquin Martinez and parents Francisco and Francisca Villarreal.

Born in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico, living in Crest Hill over 50 years.  Maria was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She enjoyed crocheting,  cross word puzzles and loved cooking for her family.

Visitation will be held Thursday June 9, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.   Graveside services will at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
