Age 98, passed away Thursday June 25, 2026 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home.

Survived by her daughter Janet (Brad) Drew; grandchildren John (Jen) Comstock, Michael (Kelly) Comstock, Jayme (Tony) Reavis, Melissa Mores, Laura Allen and Angie; sister Carol Abernathy and Estella  Murphy; brother Robert Taylor. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband John Mores; children Linda Allen, John Mores and Michael Mores; grandson John Mores; brothers Mark and Roger Taylor; parents Emery and Audrey Taylor.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident. Graduated from Joliet Township High School. Margaret worked as a nurse assistant and in the cafeteria at Silver Cross Hospital.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Venessa Jones and Christina Galvin for the loving care given to Margaret during her stay at Sunny Hill Nursing Home.

As per Margaret’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
