Lucille D. Dowhen

Lucille Dowhen Nee: Nault Age 86, passed away Monday June 4, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by her son William Dowhen; two grandchildren Cassandra and Patrick Dowhen; siblings, Gloria (Joe) Boulanger, Beverly (Harvey) Robitaille, Donald (Dee) Nault, Ralph (Pauline) Nault. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Richard H. Dowhen; parents Frank and Lena Nault. Born in Lyndonville, VT, a Joliet resident since 1997. Member of Hope Lutheran Church. She was active in numerous civic organizations, and enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing and was an avid White Sox and Nascar fan. Lying in state Friday June 8, 2012 at Hope Lutheran Church Friday June 8, 2012 at 10:00 until time of service at 10:30am. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the Blackburn Giegerich Sonntag Funeral Home. Memorials to American Heart Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
