Age 71, passed away Sunday May 17, 2026 at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care.

Survived by her husband William Pleshe; children Nena (Kevin) Wright, Nicole (Josh) Bregar and Eric (Mae) Pleshe; grandchildren Anabelle, Collin and Cole Wright, Madilyn and Matilda Bregar; one sister Mary Beth (William) Velluex; brother-in-law Keith Oram. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her parents Donald and Corky Dwyer; sisters Susan Oram and Geri Kennedy; brothers Robert “Yogi”, William “Billy” and Joseph Dwyer.

Born and raised in Joliet, living in Seneca the past 30 years. LuAnn graduated from Washington Junior High and Joliet Central High School Class of 1974 where she was a cheerleader. LuAnn and Will were high school sweethearts, marrying in 1978 and began raising their family. Lu co-chaired the Reedwood Neighborhood Watch program. She was an Aerobic instructor at Movement Incorporated and the Joliet YMCA’s and also worked at Earl’s Café and The Keg in Joliet. After moving to Seneca she worked at the Grade School cafeteria. After retirement, Will and LuAnn enjoyed wintering in Venice, Florida the past 14 years. LuAnn really cherished her friendships and loved spending time with family and friends in Venice.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 30, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Visitation Saturday from 11:30 until time of services.
