Age 88, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at her home with family by her side.

Survived by one daughter Sandy (Leonard) Link; sons Thomas (Marcy) Moody, Edward (Wendy) Moody and John (Colleen) Moody; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother Andrew (Karen) Nielsen; sister-in-law Jeanie Nielsen. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband Herbert D. Moody Sr.; sons Herbie Moody Jr. and Bill Moody; daughter Nancy Lynn Moody; her parents Chris H. and Catherine (Schinella) Nielsen; two brothers Chris (Irene) Nielsen and Charles Nielsen.

Born in Joliet, Lorraine was a lifelong resident. She loved spending time with her family and working in the yard.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Per Lorraine’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded.
