Lorraine R. Devine

Age 92,  passed away Tuesday March 19, 2024 at Lightways Hospice Home, with her family by her side.

Survived by her daughter Kathy Devine; sons Dan, Jim and Tom Devine; grandchildren Meghan (Matt) Rafferty and Patrick (Lauryn) Devine; great grandchildren Lyla and Gavin Rafferty; numerous nieces and nephews including special nieces Jeni, Jill and Shelly; dear friend Jean Conroy.

Preceded in death by her husband James B. Devine; parents George and Clara (May) Keigher; sisters Dolores Petropolis and Sharon Paris; brothers George, Jerry and Tom Keigher.

Born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident.  Lorraine attended and graduated from Scared Heart Grade School and Joliet Township High School.  She retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company.   A member of St. Jude’s Parish for over 60 years.   Lorraine looked forward to vacationing with her family in Wisconsin, enjoyed going to Siesta Key, FL., a good laugh and a good gin martini.

Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Friday March 22, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Jude Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.   Entombment Woodlawn Memorial Park.    Visitation Friday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers memorials to Lightways Hospice, wwwlightways.org or St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/memorial would be appreciated.
