Judith A. Bernoteit

Age 79, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at Amita St. Joseph Medical Center.

Survived by one brother Robert (Mary) Bernoteit; niece Laura (Kevin) Hecht; nephews Robert W. (Stephanie) Bernoteit and Michael Bernoteit; great nephews David Hecht and Colin Bernoteit.

Preceded in death by her parents Gustav H. and Edna (Raddatz) Bernoteit; two brothers Kenneth and Richard Bernoteit.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.   Retired from Crystal Lawns Elementary School after teaching over 40 years.  Member St. Peter Lutheran Church.   Judy’s hobby was raising and training Cocker Spaniels for show.

Funeral Services will be held, Monday February 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.  Interment Hills of Rest Cemetery/Woodlawn Memorial Park II.   Visitation Monday morning 10:00 a.m. until time of services.   Memorials to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, ASPCA or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
