Age 73, passed away Wednesday July 19, 2023 at Lightways Hospice Home.

 Survived by her daughter Kim (Nick) Kursell; granddaughters Keara (Austin) Pille and Kayla Kursell; one sister Judy Hendricks; nephew Michael Hendricks; great nephews Zachary and Johnathon Hendricks; great niece Elizabeth Hendricks.   Jody’s precious cats Baby and Milo also survive.

 Preceded in death by her husband Edward T. Meyers Jr.; parents John and Lorraine (Salzman) Dwyer; brother-in-law Larry Hendricks and niece Theresa Hendricks.

 Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.   Jody was a loving wife and mother.  Jody worked at Marycrest School as a special education teachers aid.   She had a charitable heart giving to many organizations, and loved horses.

 As per Jody’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.   The family asks for memorials to Lightways Hospice or ASPCA in Jody’s name.
