Joan Radakovich

Joan Radakovich passed away peacefully June 5 2026 at the age of 93.

She was born March 8, 1933 in Morris, Illinois to Nicholas Zullo and Sophia Bogacz.

She earned a full scholarship to the College of St. Francis for music and then obtained a masters degree in voice from the Chicago Conservatory of Music.

After marrying her husband Robert Radakovich she became a kindergarten teacher and homemaker in Joliet.

Joan loved classical music and opera, teaching, her Catholic faith and family.

A truly selfless person, all that met Joan remarked upon how kind and considerate she was to others.

Preceding her in death were husband of Robert and son Robert Jr.

She is survived by her devoted son Jovan Radakovich, her brother Nick Zullo, sister Florence Nepote, and many nieces and nephews.
