Jack D. Bush Age 81, passed away peacefully, Tuesday February 5, 2013 at his home, with his family by his side. Survived by his wife Betty (Janes) Bush of 56 years; children Jill (Gary) Stercay, Jack W. Bush, Laurie (Bill) Bauer and Jim (Joni) Bush; nine grandchildren Mark, Christopher and Lauren Stercay, Ryan, Megan and Jack Bauer, Jacob, Dylan and Kelli Bush. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Ralph W. and Myrtle (Werner) Bush Sr.; two brothers Earl and Ralph Jr. Bush. Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident. Retired from ComEd after 39 years of service. Jack loved spending time with his family and traveling. Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Plainfield City Cemetery. Visitation Friday 3-7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Northeastern Illinois Palliative Care and Hospice, 405 Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington, IL, 60010 or American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
