Gwendolyn E. Book

Gwendolyn E. Book Nee: Gammie Age 78, passed away Friday July 27, 2012 at Salem Village. Survived by her daughters Candy Book, Sandy (Rex) King; grandson Jason King; great grandson Sean King; sister Delores Zurski. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Book Sr.; son Raymond L. Book Jr.; grandson Adam King; parents Paul and Helen Gammie; sister Velma Brown. Born in Terre Haute, IN, living in Joliet most of her life. Retired from Tri County Periodical. Gwen was an avid reader, reading 2-3 books a week. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandson and great grandson. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Hills of Rest Cemetery. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Memorials to the Passage Hospice would be appreciated.
