Gregory J. Mahalick

Gregory J. (Artie) Mahalick Age 58, passed away Wednesday June 19, 2013 at his home, with his loving family by his side. Survived by his wife Diane Mahalick; three children, Joseph, Stephen and Margaret Mahalick and three step children Jeffrey (fianc Stephanie) Neumann, Jamie (Ron) Cockream and Genevieve (Adam) Jarosz. Three grandchildren, Ronnie and Dean Cockream, and Sadie Jarosz. Brother James R. Mahalick; one sister Katherine(John) Buehler. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Julia (Buczek) Mahalick; Born in Joliet, IL living in Shorewood. Greg was a partner with Certified Warehouse foods in Joliet. He was a loyal graduate of Joliet Catholic High School class of 1972 and he was also a graduate of Lewis University. He will be missed dearly by many friends and family. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing, hunting, and mushroom picking. Funeral services will be held Friday June 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Lockport, IL. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at St. Dennis Church. Interment at a later date.
