Gilbert M. Nicoll

Gilbert M. Nicoll Age 76, of New Lenox, passed away suddenly on June 19, 2012 at Palos Community Hospital. Born January 6, 1936 in Joliet. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Nicoll, his children Shawn (Kim) Nicoll, Cathy Rodeghero and Kevin Nicoll, his step-children Stephanie (Todd) Malinick, Tobi (Rick) Ruff, Matthew (Janelle) Schuler and Amanda (David) Boyd. Also survived by his sister, Martha (Arthur) Kessler and brother, John (Julia) Nicoll, grandchildren; Jim and Greg Nicoll, Kristin (Cameron) Martin, Daniel and Caitlin Rodeghero, Lauren Nicoll and step-grandchildren; Kai Malinick, Jacob, Sydney and Isaac Ruff. Gil was a graduate of Joliet Township High School, Joliet Junior College, and University of Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He also, very proudly, taught at Joliet Junior College for 50 years, in the Math Department. Private, family, services were held Friday.
