Age 93, passed away peacefully, Saturday May 2, 2026 at Story Point Memory Care Romeoville.

Survived by her daughter Karen (Mark) Storcz Sr.; her son Brian Clausen; grandchildren Sarah Storcz, Tyler and Rachel Clausen; step granddaughter Brittney Mikel; great granddaughter Wrenley James Mikel. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her husband Gordon F. Clausen; two grandsons Mark Storcz Jr. and Christopher Storcz; parents Frederick and Bernadine (Sigler) Heidelberg and one sister Faye Abel.

Born in Bloomington, IL and living in Joliet most of her life. Frieda was an active member at Grace United Methodist Church. Retired from the Golden Needle. Frieda never missed the kids school activities, sports or dance recitals.

Visitation will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, Thursday May 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to Grace United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
