Frank Mendez Age 58 passed away suddenly at his residence Monday November 28 2011.Survived by his children Frank (Tracey) Mendez Jr., Steve Mendez Suzette Mendez and Christine Mendez four grandchildren brothers Joe (Vanessa), Roman (Brenda) and Victor (Carri) Mendez sisters Josie (Mike) Vasquez Linda Sanchez Mary Jane (Greg) Dolnak Mary Ellen Mendez Antionette Mendez and Jesica (Seferino) Aguirre long time companion Kathy Brown and best friend Donna Dimmick. Numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and friends.Preceded in death by his parents Jose and Nicolina (Villicana) Mendez sisters Soledad Mendez and Victoria Lambert.Born in Chicago living in Crest Hill most of his life. Retired Joliet Area Construction worker. Frank was an avid fisherman and WWE fan.A Memorial Service will be held Thursday December 1 2011 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials to Kathy Brown would be appreciated.
