Passed away peacefully at her home, Sunday September 24, 2023.

Born in Joliet to her parents Andrew and Mary (Ready) Ashenbrenner, the sixth daughter of six girls.

Preceded in death by her son William “Billy” Girard; her sisters Verna Mae (John) Ruzon, Lois (Al) Palmer, Joan (Gene) Oetter, Rita (Larry) Ruzon and Donna (Bill) Ozbalt.

Survived by her beloved daughter Kathleen “Kathy” Querio; son-in-law James “Jim” Querio and her two grandchildren Patrick and Kara Querio.  Several Nieces and nephews and special friend Ron Wells and his daughter Amy and many friends and neighbors also survive.

Funeral Services will be held, Friday September 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Visitation Thursday 3-7 p.m.
