Elaine L. Nelsen

Age 81, passed away Monday July 6, 2026 at St. Joseph Medical Center.

Elaine was born in Joliet, October 29, 1944 to the late Everett and Hazel (Johnson) Lockwood.

Survived by her sister Joyce (Donald deceased) Lockwood of Joliet; brother Brian (Marianne) Nelsen of Joliet; nephew Daniel (Toshiko) Lockwood of Eugene, Oregon and nieces Leonne (Steven) Cevetan of Frankfurt, Germany; five great nieces and 4 great nephews.

Elaine was a lifelong resident of Joliet. She retired from Dominik’s after 26 years.

As per Elaine’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Elmhurst Cemetery.
