Elaine L. Nelsen
Age 81, passed away Monday July 6, 2026 at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Elaine was born in Joliet, October 29, 1944 to the late Everett and Hazel (Johnson) Nelsen.
Survived by her sister Joyce (Donald deceased) Lockwood of Joliet; brother Brian (Marianne) Nelsen of Joliet; three nephews Daniel (Toshiko) Lockwood of Eugene, Oregon, Andrew Nelsen of Joliet and Robert Nelsen of Joliet and niece Leanne (Steven) Cvetan of Frankfurt, Germany; five great nieces and two great nephews.
Elaine was a lifelong resident of Joliet. She retired from Dominick’s after 26 years.
As per Elaine’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Elmhurst Cemetery.
