Age 55, passed away May 26, 2023.

 Survived by his mother Atheline Carik; brothers Scott (Betty) Carik and Greg (Gail) Carik; one sister Andrea Weese; step son Kyle (Erin) Carli; grandchildren Tyler, Ben and Will.   Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

 Preceded in death by his wife Lacey Carik; father Edward J. Carik; and brother-in-law Richard Weese.

 Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.  Veteran of US Army, severing in the reserves.  Was employed by K&D Service Center.

Services with full Military Honors are scheduled for 2:00PM Tuesday June 6, 2023, at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Family and friends may gather beforehand at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral home, 1500 Black Rd Joliet, IL 60435, for a procession departing promptly at 1:15PM to the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
