Age 68, passed away Thursday December 4, 2025 at Lightway’s Hospice Home, surrounded by her family.

Survived by her husband Dean Tuntland; brother Leroy (Judy) Crook; Brothers-in-law Craig (Nancy) Tuntland and Bruce (Linda) Tuntland; sisters-in-law Nancy (Richard) Rivera and Beverly (Donald) Landreth. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Preceded in the by her mother Dorothy (Parks) Crook; father Francis Crook Sr.; sisters Theresa Lehnert, Rose Roe and Lena Rinke; one brother Francis Crook Jr.

Dora was born in Joliet and was a lifelong area resident. Graduate of Joliet Central High School.

Dora was an avid BINGO player. She enjoyed putting together puzzles and watching games shows on TV.

Dean would like to thank all who were involved in Dora’s care and treatment at Silver Cross Hospital and St. Joseph Medical Center. Also thanks to Lightway’s Hospice for their heart felt care of Dora. Thanks for the Love and support of family and friends through this difficult time and thanks to our friends at New Life Fellowship Church and Judson Church for all their caring and compassionate support.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
