Age 79, passed away Sunday January 23, 2022 at Amita St. Joseph Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Born November 13, 1942 to Harold W. and Marie E. (Fang) Brunner. She went to Guardian Angel Home and St. John’s Catholic School in her younger years. Graduated from Plainfield High School in 1960. Diane married the love of her life June 16, 1962, stayed happily married to Louis L. Hoehn for 56 years.
Diane is survived by her three children Susan L. Hayes, David (Wendy) Hoehn and Rebecca L. (Joe) Bachmann; blessed with grandchildren Joshua, James (Kristin), Jeremy, Jonah, Adam, Michael “Bubba”, Makana, Charles “CJ”, Tesla, Piper, Reese; great grandchildren Isaiah, Marcus, Justin, Andrew, Shantal, Ella, Alora, Jaida, Leidy, Mikayla; one brother Harry W. (Mary) Brunner; one sister Lisa M. (late Richard) Farkas. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents and grandson Zacharia.
Diane was one of a kind, she sold Tupperware, Mary Kay and was a realtor while raising her children. She loved to crochet and play BINGO. She was the world’s greatest cook, and loved making cakes, she could always be found watching Days of Our Lives or the Hallmark Channel. Diane was the glue that held this family together and had all our backs 100 percent.
Funeral Services will be held, Friday January 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag funeral Home. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 3-7 p.m.
