Dennis W. Beallis

Age 80, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center.

Survived by his High School sweetheart, whom he married in 1961,  Carol (Coldwater) Beallis; two daughters Lori (Monte) Buell and Lynn (John) Czajkowski; granddaughters Stephanie (John “Jay” Bell) and Staci Czajkowski; great grandchildren Leila, Charlie and John Jr. “JJ” Bell.  Numerous nieces, nephews and many Cro Club Family also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents George and Winifred (Nickel) Beallis; one sister Donna Bobbe.

Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.  Retired from Natural Gas Pipline after 35 years.  Member of the Joliet Moose Lodge #300, standing member of the Moose Legion and Joliet Croatian Club.  He was a dedicated volunteer at both clubs for many years.   Dennis and Carol enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson, MO to meet up with family and friends.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and visiting family.

Funeral Services will be held, Thursday September 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.  Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.   Visitation Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services.   In lieu of flowers memorials to The Joliet Croatian Club or Joliet Moose Lodge #300 would be appreciated.
