Charlene M Juricic, 87, of Arlington Heights, IL died Monday, March 25, 2024. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 30th from 9 – 10:30am at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home in Joliet, IL followed by a funeral service. Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.

Charlene was born November 29, 1936 in Alhambra, CA, the daughter of Augusta and Leonard Schaadt. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Steven Morrical of Lexington, KY and Laura and Tom Duvall of Long Grove, IL; three grandchildren, Chase Duvall, Blake Duvall, and Katie Morrical; sister, Susan Tillim. Deceased are husband Richard Juricic, parents Leonard and Augusta, and brothers Leonard and Richard Schaadt.

Charlene was a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics with highest honors. Charlene married Richard in 1963 in Lafayette, IN. Charlene dedicated her life to her family and the service of others. She spent most of her adult life in Kankakee, IL, Mequon, WI and Henderson, NV. Charlene loved to travel, entertain, and was an active member of the Red Hat Society. Her hobbies included gardening, needlepoint, and jigsaw puzzles. Charlene had a loving spirit and brought joy to all who knew her.
