Age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County.

Survived by her daughter Jayne (Scott) Worden; grandson Daniel Worden; granddaughter Emily Worden; sisters Colleen (James) Lawson and Debra (Kenneth) Dassow. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Richard W. Minnick; son Brian Minnick; parents Patrick J. and Jean C. (Offerman) Gallagher and twin sister Catherine “Cathy” (late Ronald) Tomczak.

Born in Joliet, lifelong resident. Graduate of Joliet Township High School. Carolyn retired from Silver Cross Hospital, working as an Admitting and Insurance Clerk. A member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Joliet for many years. She enjoyed bowling and playing card games.

Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, at 9:00 a.m. Monday August 18, 2025 then to Holy Family Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.  Visitation Sunday August 17, 2025 from 1-4 p.m.
