Bart A. Coley

Please take a moment to shed a tear, or say a swear, as we have unfortunately lost a great one, Bart Coley. Bart unexpectedly passed on Monday, September 28, 2026 at the age of 41 due to undiagnosed heart and organ conditions. Bart would have celebrated his 42nd birthday this November. Bart was a lot of things, caring, funny, loyal, a son, brother, friend, dog lover and a thousand other things. Bart had a positive impact on countless people, from grade school as a Crystal Cricket - “CHIRP-CHIRP”, through Indian Trail and PHS, as well as his time as a teacher, where he shared his love for art with so many students. No matter where you were in time, if Bart was there, you likely remember. The memories that he gave people are what made him Bart. Bart is survived by his parents, Barb and Terry Coley, brothers Jason and Chad (Victoria) Coley, as well as everyone else which he mentored, inspired, and loved, his family was huge, because it also included you.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 4, 2026 2-6 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m, at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.
