Age 95, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the DeKalb Hospital, DeKalb, IL.

Survived by her children Remo Leoni, Carl (Judy) Leoni, Mary (Bill) Greenback, Angela (Dina) Leoni and David (Maryann) Leoni; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; nephew Mario Franco and his family in Italy.

Preceded in death by her husband Angelo Leoni; infant child; parents Cherubimo and Maria (Gaiera) Macchi; sister Maria (Carlo) Gaiera and brother Edwardo Macchi.

Born in Robechetto, Milan, Italy.  Living in Joliet since 1954.  Member of the Church of St. Anthony.

Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Thursday January 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. to the Church of St. Anthony for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.   Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m   In lieu of flowers memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
