Thomas Anthony Bianco, age 82, passed away peacefully January 21, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Judith (Giacomi) Bianco; his three loving children Tommy (Christina) Bianco; Tina (Dave) Clark and Tracy Bianco (Jack Glenn); one grandchild David Clark, Jr.; one sister Donna (late George) Keigher; one sister-in-law Mary Kay (late Steve) Parisi and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Ross and Lucille (Petrucci) Bianco; one grandchild Jenna Bianco; three brothers Ernest, Frank, and Mike Bianco and one infant sister.
Tom attended Joliet Central High School then enlisted in the U.S. Army. He later attended Joliet Junior College and became a Joliet Fireman where he served for 22 years. He was a lifetime member of the Irving Athletic Club and the South Side Civic Club. Tom was a loving, caring and generous man who dearly loved his family and his grand-dogs. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed wine with his meals. He devoted his life to taking care of those he loved.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Thursday from 9-11 a.m. Joseph J. Tapella, Funeral Director.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Will County Humane Society or Joliet Area Community Hospice in Thomas’ name would be appreciated.
