James G. Clymer
Age 58, passed away Thursday April 5, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Survived by Jane Pomykala Klingler; “Girlfriend”, Best Friend and Forever Soulmate; her daughters to whom he was more than a Father, Jennifer and Janelle Klingler; the PROUDEST Papa ever to Jalina Rose; two brothers John (Judith) and Kenneth Jr. (Linda) Clymer; two sisters Maryanne (Daniel) Kolb and Nancy Burback; brother-in-law Carl Zeman. Numerous nieces, nephews and cherished friends from Chicago also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Eileen (Burton) Clymer; one brother Donald Clymer and one sister Judith Zeman.
Born in Chicago, lived in Joliet the past 30 years. Jim worked in the family business, Certified Warehouse Foods for 35 years. James loved sailing, playing his guitar, fishing, the Cubs and hot air balloon rides, but most of all he treasured his time with Jalina.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday April 15, 2018, 2-4 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 4 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials to Jalina Rose Klingler in Jim's memory for her Catholic Education Fund would be appreciated.
